The Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA) has teamed with WebCE to provide CSAs with CSA CE ethics courses, as well as the opportunity to take other insurance continuing education courses for CSA CE credit and for your licensing renewal requirements.


CSA CE Program Requirements

CSAs have three years to earn 18 CSA CE credits in order to recertify and renew their membership for the fourth year. These 18 credits include 3 required CSA CE ethics credits.

3 CSA CE Ethics Credits Required Every Three Years

All CSAs must take the online module, The CSA's Role, Rules and Responsibilities module for the 3 required CSA CE ethics credits. This module covers The CSA Code of Professional Responsibility.To register for this module, click NO on this page and follow instructions.

Options for earning 15 CSA CE credits include:

  • Volunteering for seniors (1 credit for 1 hour); maximum of 9
  • SCSA CE ethics courses through WebCE (6 credits each; insurance CE hours, if selected, vary by state):

    Ethics in Selling to Seniors

    Maximizing Integrity in Decisions with Seniors

  • One or more of SCSA’s three Critical Issues in Aging online courses through WebCE (3 credits each; 9 total; no L&H or other professional CE is offered)
  • A CE course, seminar or workshop approved by SCSA covering ethics or an aspect of working with seniors. (6 credits each)

    Once you have completed your selected course, you will take your exam online or by paper. Either way, WebCE will grade your exam and send you a certification of completion for a passing score.
